How is it December?? 30 Day Shred!!

Seriously, how is it already December 1?? I feel like 2012 just started! Time flies! It has been quite a year and while 2012 did have some fun things, I am so over 2012 and looking forward to 2013. (assuming we all make it past December 21
) I do plan on doing a full year review closer to the end of the year, but I just can’t wait for 2013. I have also changed the look of the blog! I was going to wait, but I was too excited! As much as I loved the space theme, I wanted something more clean. I am loving the change!!
As you can imagine, P90 didn’t last very long. Don’t judge. I lasted 3 days and after 3 workouts in one day, I was over it. I WILL pick it up again, but I am going to give it a few months. Instead, I am starting Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. Everyone is always worried around the holiday’s about weight gain and this year I am going to take a moderation approach. Usually, I am just all about food and no working out, but this is a new side of the leaf. I have each day on my calendar waiting to be crossed off. I cannot wait for the next 30 days to fly by and see the finished results! I have taken pictures and made a note of weight.
I have always restarted, again don’t judge, Couch to 5K. This time, it will stick. I even squeezed in a run last night after getting off work. It was dark and chilly, but I felt amazing! I think I will chalk it up to the coffee and 5-Hour energy I had at work.
My legs felt light and I felt good. This all surprised me because I had also gone to spin class that morning. While I hated spin at first, as did my butt, I get what it is all about now. I really do think it is helping my legs gain strength. That right there is reason enough for me to keep going to 6am spin, even after I have stayed up too late google chatting with new friends.
Sorry for the brain dump! This post is all over the place and I am fixing to make my way back to work. I originally had today off, but they needed a cash handler tonight so I said I would come in. I am actually pretty pumped about this new assignment. It makes me feel more needed, in theory, by work. It is not a pay raise, but it is more responsibility, um hello money, and that is enough for me. Okay, now I am really dashing off so I can head into work. Have a beautiful Saturday afternoon!
