2012 Year Review

Wow!! I am so excited! This post is coming from my new self-hosted site! Again, I am totally excited and frequently use too many exclamation marks! Please, don’t judge me.

Where did 2012 go?? I feel the older I get, the faster time flies. Anyone else feel this way? 2012 had its highlights, that’s for sure. I lost track of my huge list of goals for 2012, so I am just going to hit the highlights.

1. Space Camp

Space Camp was quite an adventure! There were some ups and there were some downs. I learned a lot about myself in the process of being a Crew Trainer and I added an amazing amount of education to my space knowledge. Things were not always rosy and they definitely did not end how I imagined, but I do not regret my time there. I had some amazing experiences and met some amazing people!

2. Weight Loss

This pretty much did not happen at all and for that, there is no excuse. In 2013, I want to focus on specific ways to meet this goal and to have realistic goals.

3. Playing more flute

Umm, this really did not happen.

4. Having a set amount in my bank account

Umm, this one did not happen either.

5. Find a real job

Still working on this one.

Again, 2012 was an okay year. Most of my year was spent down on Alabama at Space Camp and the rest of the year was spent putting in more job applications, doing quite a bit of traveling, and working. While 2012 was not everything I anticipated, it was still a good year. That being said, I am looking forward to 2013 and everything that it has to offer. To close out this post, here are a few highlights from 2012:
