Weekly Fitness Recap: 9/30-10/6

*When this gets published, I will be on my way to California!! I am so excited! I have never been to California and I am looking forward to having a blast! I will be doing some job search while there, but otherwise, I will be having a blast! :-)

Sunday: I set out for a 3 mile run, on my favorite trail! I was feeling blah during this one. I have decided to really get serious and get things done the closer the Army Ten-Miler gets. It was for sure a slow one, but I got it done!

Monday: I have started to wear my HRM during all workouts and it is interesting to see overall calories burnt and what not. The calories burned is a little disappointing and I really want to focus on higher intensity and longer gym workouts. I also started doing a modified full body workout (for time’s sake) and doing cardio first instead of weights. I will be playing around with that over the next few weeks to see how it goes.

Tuesday: A new PDR!!! I had 6 miles on the calendar and 6 I did!! I felt AMAZING and was so pumped at the end of this run!! It was only a couple of seconds slower than the Sunday run, but felt really good. :-)

Wednesday: More cardio and full body modified workouts! Nothing too special.

Thursday: 4 Miles! Um, 4 VERY slow miles. I have not seen a pace like that in quite awhile. I think I was just super tired and work has had me irritated lately. Side note, I can be the sweetest sales associate/cashier you have, but if you have an attitude when you come up to me, you better beware.

Friday: REST

Saturday: More cardio and full body! Probably the best of the week. It was still a modified workout, but a really good one. This was followed up by walking around the Virgin Mobile Free Fest. This was a blast and the company was really good. ;-) More on the Virgin Mobile Free Fest later.

This week was another great weigh in. I am not sure what this was all about, to be very honest. Here goes;

This week: down 2.6 pounds!! <I am positive this number will stop being so high here in the next few weeks and things will start being more reasonable.

Total: down 6.8 pounds!!

Did I mention I am so excited for California?? I am super sad though, because I could not get tickets to Thrilling Adventure Hour. :-(
