Nats, Quiche, & 6 Miles

What a busy past 24 hours! I started yesterday with a quick workout before making my way over to take yet another test for a job. This test was not your ordinary test, however. This test was the mother of all test and went over everything from Civil War times, which president said this, and present times. Phew! Glad that test was over. I came back from the test and crashed, but not for long because I had a Nationals game to go to!!

Joseph had sent out a tweet saying he had free tickets to the game and I was more than willing to add the Nationals as another baseball team to my seen list! Turner Field and Fenway Park still take the top, but this was a lot of fun! Here are a few pics throughout the night!

We really wanted Teddy to win!

Apparently, I was a tad too excited and my left eye decided to cross. . .

I got home a little after 11 and was THRILLED to be able to sleep in this morning! I awoke to a cat in my face and wanting on the bed because of the heating blanket. Silly, Mozart! I got to work on making a quiche. I have been trying to find the perfect quiche recipe that is healthy and low in points. I think I finally am getting closer to what I want! This is a Canadian Bacon, Broccoli, and Cheddar quiche. I think I am going to be tweaking this recipe until I find the perfect recipe!

I also tried my hand at an old recipe, but I added some red peppers on top. Add some salad and asparagus and it was a delicious dinner!!

Obviously, it was cooked! ;-)

I popped the chicken in the oven and was off to tackle my longest running distance, 6 MILES! With the Army Ten-Miler so close, I figured I better step it up! It was a beautiful and long run! For whatever reason, my right leg had it out for me the first mile. It sucked, but I kept going and finishing the run never felt so nice!

Now, it is time to hit the sack! Goodnight all!! :-)
