Cali Love!! Part 2

Where did we leave off? Oh yes, I had taken two test and had a wonderful day at Universal Studios Hollywood. We had scheduled to stay two nights in Ventura, but before we headed north, we went over to Hollywood BLVD and had some fun. Ready for more photo dump? Good! Here we go!
Our first stop was the Grumman Chinese Theater and to look at the concrete names.
For one of the best friends. While I did not read or really watch any of the movies, I felt I had an obligation to take a picture.
For the father, he loves John Wayne.
Supposedly, if you rub her shoulder it will bring you good luck. We will see.
$500K silk curtains. I “accidently” touched them before I was told that it was okay. Good thing.
It was actually pretty cool how they made them. While it is not the original curtain, it is the same design, done by screen printing onto the silk. While the tour was not my favorite, it was cool to hear about the history of the theater and how a lot of big movie premiers showed here, including Star Wars! Tons of movie actors and actresses have sat in those seats!
Original butterflies from when it first opened! They cover the butterflies up when the yellow needs to be repainted. This is down in the female powder room, where the girls go to freshen up, including the stars!
Alright, Hollywood Walk of Fame star time!
Enjoy!
I love Somewhere in Time!
Remember these two for later!
We also hit up Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum! Very fun and very creepy.
Our last stop before going north was to where my favorite comedy show performs, Largo at the Coronet! While I was incredibly distraught I would not get to see Thrilling Adventure Hour while I was there, I was happy I got to see where they performed! It was incredibly fun and I CANNOT wait until I get to see a show live! I am already planning my next trip out to LA to see Thrilling Adventure Hour. Seriously, if you have not listened to it or pledged to their Thrilling Adventure Hour Kickstarter campaign. Go. Now!
Obviously, I freaking love Thrilling Adventure Hour and I, again, CANNOT wait to see a live show! I am a proud backer and loved seeing where they perform! Again, go back them now!!
I loved dedicating my 10K tweet to Thrilling Adventure Hour and was thrilled when one of the Workjuice Players started following me! Shout out to Hal Lublin!! And, of course, Paget Brewster! Hey all!!
Yeah!! Alright, no more photo dumps for tonight! Can’t wait to share more!!

It looks like you had a blast out there! I’m so jealous! I’m sending good vibes your way that something pulls through for you out there (although I will say that I would be a little sad too, but I’m just being selfish
) Fingers crossed!
