I decided to change things up a little. Yes, I am constantly saying that, but I am in that experimental stage to find out what works best for me. I want to try just giving a weekly fitness recap as well as a weight loss update. Yep, you read that right. Nope, I am not going to post my particular scale number. While I realize this is a public blog, my public blog, I also realize that future employers could be looking at this and I do not want my high scale number to cast a doubt on me. I am working on taking it off, for good, at a nice pace.
How am I going to do it? I am going back to Weight Watcher. I enjoyed the program my first time around about a year and a half ago and so far I am really enjoying this time around. I especially love the recipe builder. I am on a quest to make the perfect quiche. I have already tried one recipe and I was not a huge fan. Thankfully, my roommates were and finished it off for me. Maybe I will become a chef after all! (Don’t hold your breath!)
Moving onto workouts!
Monday: Gym time!! I am still doing a full body workout and increasing the weights every week to the next level. I ditched the cardio after the machines because it was SO busy! Never again am I going during after work hours!!
Tuesday: “Quick” 3 mile run on my favorite path before work. This was done in the middle of the afternoon. DOH!! Dumb! The humidity and temperature made an appearance again a few days this past week and this day was one of them. Average pace: 14:02. S-L-O-W!
Wednesday: Gym time!! More full body workout and I did get some cardio time on my beloved elliptical.
Friday: Gym time!! More of the same;although, I did switch cardio machines half way through. I HATED the “elliptical” that I was on and I switched over to the one I normally am on. My knee was bothering me and I did not get in the distance I normally do. Hopefully, this week the knee will feel better.
4 out of 7 days. Not so good! Must get better next week.
Pounds lost this week: -4.6!!! (I know, this number will probably never be seen again.)
