Good morning from VA!

I am happy to report I am officially back in Virginia and I am loving every minute of it! We had some storms come through on Saturday and brought the temperature down into the 70s!! I am sitting on the back porch, eating breakfast, sipping my tea, and letting the cat roam. It is wonderful!

If I did not think I was suppose to be right here, I do now. So many things have fallen into place since being back. Down in Alabama, I felt like I was constantly pushing against a brick wall to go further and we all know how that ended. Here, I have none of that. Sure, I do not have a full time job yet, but it will happen. Within 24 hours of being back, I had my old job back, a pay increase, joined a new gym, and was just loving life. I realize that things are not going to be easy when it comes to work and whatnot, but I do believe there is a different in banging your head against the wall and nothing come of it and then putting effort into things and them start working out.

Speaking of working out. . .Things have been rough the past couple of weeks. I will get week 3 & 4 recap up tonight. I have only done a handful of workouts and that is just pitiful, but I am back on the wagon! I unofficially did the 9/11 Memorial Race in Crystal City on Saturday and took an unofficial PR!! More about that coming up! It was a fun race and I cannot wait to do it again next year and this time officially! ;-)

In a nutshell, life is good! I am where I need to be living. Physically, I am back on the band wagon and look forward to the journey. Mentally, I am getting better as far as my feelings towards SC. I have good days where I can actually reference and crack jokes about the movie and other days where I would rather just not talk about it because the whole thing makes me so angry. Spiritually, things are good! Life is good!

Have a beautiful Monday! It is gorgeous here and I want to spend as much time enjoying it as I can! :-)
