Greetings from Atlanta!

Hello from Atlanta!

After getting an extremely late start and dealing with people at the MILPO ID office on Redstone, I am thrilled to finally be here and away from it all. At least for a few days!

My hotel is wonderful and I think I picked a winner! Not only is it the place where my 5 hour test is taking place in the morning, guess what is right outside! Yep!!

Turner Field! Home of the Atlanta Braves! I cannot believe I have never seen the Atlanta Braves play! Charlie O’Brien, the catcher for the 1995 Braves when they won the World Series, is a family friend. Charlie also came up with the concept of the catcher’s mask that is similar to a hockey mask! I hope to find some gear with his number on it tomorrow.

Plans tomorrow include: workout, test, Turner Field tour, and the Braves vs. Nationals! I leave you with some pictures from the drive over from Huntsville. Did you know that Alabama has a nuclear power plant?? I did not, but it was really cool/umm scary to think about it! Okay, here are the pics!
